For PIC's are most of you using MPlab to load the HEX file into the PIC? I have the PICKit 2 programmer.

That works, but there's also special PICkit-only software. I prefer that, since it will automatically program the device every time the .hex file changes on disk; so you just have to hit compile in LDmicro, and the PIC gets programmed automatically.

Would you happen to the know the program name because the CD that came with my PICKit appears to have only MPLAB and HI-TECH Lite?
