LDmicro souce code compliler (by Roy Bettesworth)
I am interested in making a few changes to LDmicro - one area is to make it specfic as I will only be using PIC16F877a controller and my pins etc will be defined. What compiler/s can I use.

See the README.txt file in the source distribution:
"LDmicro is built using the Microsoft Visual C++ compiler. If that is installed correctly, then you should be able to just run make.bat"

For successful making of Ldmicro you need perl!
And for direct using nmake command necessary set visual studio environt variables applying script vsvars32.bat. On my computer it (vsvars32.bat) lies in D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\Tools\ .
