What is the current state of play vis a vis SPI interface? (by Ziggy)
I would like to implement a thermocouple temperature measurement solution using ATMega 328 .
Thermocouple amplifier chip works via an SPI interface.

There was an example of ATMega2560 some time ago as well as Jose's work on SPI libraries.

What is the current SPI situation? Is there a tidy LD micro solution?

Hi Ziggy

SPI can work with ldmicro in C mode, using my external libs, but there's a pb with SPI name in last version 5.4.
You must use version 5.3 instead...

I can help you if need be to have your sensor working.
Please post its datasheet or reference.

Hello Jose,

I was looking at a Maxim thermocouple amplifier but a similarly priced Analog Devices thermocouple amp with analog outputs has eliminated the SPIneeds.

So for the time being a headache avoided,

I remain blissfully Ignorant
