Latching (by Mohamed Osama)
Hi every one

How can I make something like that:

a b c d e
--][-----][-----][--+-----]/[------------------------------()---
|
e |
--][----------------+

I mean there is no way to make a vertical line "|" or horizontal line "-"

If you create a coil under the contact it will automatically create a vertical link.
For example if you make the cursor flash under contact abcde then hit the C button a latch contact with the vertical line will appear.

So, starting from an empty rung, you might type:

C <Right> C <Right> <Right> L <Left> <Left> <Down> C <Right> C C

Thanks for help

But this if I have already written the rung on a paper before.
What if I want to edit? In this case there will be a need for vertical and horizontal lines, Or delete the full rung and write it again which is not practical

See the attachment. I started with Xc and Yd in series, then inserted Xf in parallel, then Xb in series with Xc, then Xe in parallel with Xb, then Xa in series with Xb, then Xd in parallel with Xa.

Of course, there are many other ways to draw that same rung.
