Hello friends, besides this wonderful software "ldmicro", we can also count on the help of many contributors. It is this spirit that will try to expose my opinion here regarding the use of this ATmega164 microcontroller. from experience I can say that I've used at least two "pic's" not on the list ldmicro: I used the pic16f872 pic based on PIC16F876, PIC16F627 and based on pic16f628, watching the address for each port: RA1, RA2, RA3 .. . then I suggest you try the ATmega164 based on the ATmega 162 contained in ldmicro, Since both are similar in several aspects such as: RISC architecture, 40pinos, PA0-PA7, PB0-PB7 ... Recalling that the power pins are different. If I'm wrong I ask friends who do not ignore me.
