how to turn ON and OFF a PWM OUTPUT? (by 80PROOF)
GUYS CAN YOU HELP ME TO TURN ON AND OFF THE PWM OUTPUT ON ATMEGA8 PIN NO.17.? MY previous experience was when i turn
"on" the pwm.. it will stay on..all trough out the time. even if i allocated a button to turn it off, in simulation it works perfect but in actual while after burning the hex file.the pwm wont stop. how to solve this problem??

How are you turning the PWM on and off? The correct way to do that is to specify a duty cycle of 0% or 100% for steady low or high; setting a false rung-in to the PWM op just freezes the PWM duty cycle at whatever it was before.

problem solved! (by 80proof)
thanks sir jonathan..i thought putting false signal to the pwm rung will make it OFF, i just got confused, because in the REAL TIME simulation it is turning OFF, i was able to make it OFF by setting the PWM OUTPUT in 100% to produce pure 5volts( power supply) and zero oscillation and the buzzer wont produce sound.anyways thanks sir jonathan!! =)
