Problem!
I am using ATMega128 and serial 2x16 LCD. Problem is that there is no signal on pin28 for LCD. Can problem be in fuse and lock bits. When I use same program on 16F877 everything is OK! Thanks, Bozidar

Hard to say. The only thing that I can guess is that perhaps the oscillator isn't what you expect (e.g., it's an internal RC oscillator, not the crystal), and the timing is wrong.
