I don't no if is simple to connect direct lcd to ldmicro ,the lcd interface is very complicated and i tested another software to make an interface from chip programed with ldmicro and lcd . Disatvantage is thath i need an atmega8 chip (or ather avr chip) to use it like an decoder ldmicro to lcd . The ldmicro generates a bcd code 4 digits multiplexed with a one refresh on one second . This is only a test and its works ok . If you need my files i will send to you .
The software i used is cracked and is work only with avr .

have used this piece of code successfully, however due to a problem with the formatted command string over serial you have to Delaying the start of the serial lcd until ldmicro start the second scan cycle
