No, you cannot because 24bit = 16777215 decimal and the max integer in LDmicro is 32767.
And further, 24bits adc can only be used by specialists in hardware with sensitive measuring device.

No, 32767 is 15bit, bit 16 is used as + or - sign.
Most of the adc chips are I2C or SPI and ldmicro does not support this interface.
What's wrong with the build-in 10 bit adc because I suspect you do not really know what you really want, given the questions you ask.

With 10bits you have 1023 dec, so 1023 (0 to 5V) = 1000kg
The resolution is 1000/1023 = 0.97 or 1kg this is what you ask.
