input and output (by quintin)
hello, i have a question, i made this program for a barrier. but when I program in the control it does not respond to the inputs. I use a ATMEGA16A MOD IO how do I select the inputs and outputs ?

Do you have a schematic of your barriercircuit?
You use a 4MHz crystal, is that the correct value?

i dont have a barriercircuit because this is a test program.

the 4 MHz wasn't correct i have changed it to 8MHz and tested it but it still doens't work.

Have you set the fuses correctly as the compiler told you ?

How did you made you circuit? on breadboard? have you used pullup/pulldown resistors ?

Dutch:
Zoals je ziet heel veel vragen als je geen schema erbij zet want het kan vanalles zijn.
Misschien een beetje meer commentaar in uw programma, zo kunnen we het eens simuleren.

where can i find these pullup/pulldown resistors?

if i put these resistors in the program then should input 1 in the software linked to input 1 in the hardware?

You can find them in the store ;-) they have nothing to do with your software, they are only hardware.
