I have problem with Atmega128 PWM when is 0% motor is running on some small speed it doesn't stop.
When I connect 16f877a everything is working perfectly (0% motor doesn't run and no noise from motor)

i dont think it has anything to do with code but more the internal architecture of the two devices

I don't think that is code. Problem is that Atmel is opposite than PIC and I don't know what is happening with PWM pin when is 0%.

in your code you have pin 17 as PWM out shouldnt it be pin 16 ?

HI Goran
Do you have an oscilloscope to test the output of the atmel when the PWM is set to zero?

Else does the mosfet warm up when it is set to zero indicating that it is slightly turned on?

I am not sure if zero is absolute zero or is the smallest timer value that can be calculated from the the crystal frequency.

the problem is I don't have a atmega128 to test with.
Kind Regards
David

Thanks sir so much!
