new element only for defined MCU (by Dzairo)
Hi all..
Qestion for all who can make changes in LD micro.
Is possible to add new element-instruction to LD micro but not for all MCU , only for selected.
I work only with ATMEL MCU then if add new instruction then only for selected MCU, not for all.
Now LD micro support olders MCU (Atmel) and this MCU have new one replacement.. fro example :
ATMega8,16,32,64,128 have same IO and SFR only ATMega162 have small diferences.
Migrate to new MCU to ATMega164,364,644,1264 will be good .. have same register , this are new MCU .. support more hardware peripherials .. etc..
If add to LD micro new MCU (I don't know if make support for ATMega48,88,168,328 too) .. want add new element instruction.. but will work only for selected MCU.
Need help with this ..
Best regards.
PS: I want add new function > I2C , and UART with IRQ and some another function..
PPS: now compile LDmicro only in Windows XP , but don't know how to compile LD micro in WIndows 7.

Nice project...
First, a thank you for their dedication in developing more tools in this application.
I believe that is a plus to have more features, or to be more available and AVR MCUs.
I am interested in this new element, I use only MCU, the easy access to simple.
If you post LDmicro with this upgrade I was grateful. Would give me way too.

hi Jose .
latest version use SFR instruction..
this instruction can read-write-from-to RAM in MCU.

download latest version but if want use this new instruction then must know what to do..
still searching freind who can help with C in win32..
ld micro is good project but need add more instruction-elements .. support second serial port for modbus (RTU or ASCII), I2C, LCD..

Yes, it is ...
But inserting more MCUs, where it has more memory and peripherals.
Where could use the other peripherals with other uses.

Hi Jose .
LDmicro is not for big project.. this is not good idea to use 32bit mcu with big ram or flash..
But SPI,I2C, etc .. is good support..
I thinking about ATMega2560 and make RTOS with LDmicro PLC cycle.. I don't know .. if have more free time then will thinking about it..
