Im trying to find a method of searching a specified range of registers to find the smallest number then activate a relay corresponding to that number. In trying to use compare functions I come undone because the number of compare functions required gobbles up program memory at an alarming rate. In fact what I have tried uses all the memory in a PIC16F876.
There must be another way but I havent found it yet.

Also is it possible to number the registers and use index registers to find or deposit data?
