Could someone post a ladder or write an example of using sleep mode and a Master Control relay?

A project I'm working on is a 7 segment display where I would like the PIC to remain running it's program with the ability to disable the IOs for the display so it can use less power when the display isn't necessary.

Why using old threads to ask a new question?

I showed you in another thread how you can use the master control relay to disable your displays with this instruction.

Use the simulator and 'single cycle' to see what happens.

... to be courteous to those who may come in the future looking for the same information. This thread comes up on a search for the topic.

Anyway I see now, just put a MCR instruction before and after the section we want to enable /disable and use a contact configured as an input pin to enable / disable the first MCR, everything between the two statements will still execute to keep the program fluid and not mess up any timing but all outputs in that section will be disabled.

That's EXACTLY what I wanted, thanks again MGP.
