Interfacing GSM modem With PIC16F877A using RS232 (by Logan)
i am doing a mini project for my carrier under the title " GSM based Remote Control System". for this, i use PIC16F877A Microcontroller with few Inputs and Outputs. there is an RS232 port using PIC UART Pins.
i am connecting a GSM modem to the RS232 Port of PIC using a level Shifter IC MAX232.
i am using AT command to trigger the Modem.i need to send AT commands and i need to read the a Message form the GSM and Take the values in the Message to process.
i dont know how to send commands Continously and receive the Message inside PIC.

Plesase Help Me out to Finish my Project.

Also i am using DS1307 RTC IC for Date and time. i have connected this to PICs I2C port pins ( SDA to RA4/T0CKI) and SCL to RA1). i need to read Date and Time Into PIC.... how to do is?

Please give some sample Programs....
