pin 12 16f886 no output (by Olivier Quirion)
Hi i've found that i am unable to use pin 12 of 16f886 as a general output pin, i know this pin may also be used as pwm output. If i use it as input it is even worse, ive get very strange behavior. Maybe it is just a bad config bit. What do you think.

can you post the .id file. some times a flag bit can cause this and some of the multi-functions are not good outputs.
if i had enough outputs i wouldn't use it.

Hi this was the program, every input/ouput are working except pin 12 (ive tried several chip) and if i use a 16f876 instead it does work ok,

No that doesn't change anything, i think there is config bit error in the program

HI I have never had A problem with pin 12 on the 886
