"HD44780" Lcd Display 16X2 ?? (by Robert Baer)

The only LCD displays i could find that start with the HD designation are by Hantronix, and the "HD44780" does not exist.
There are bunch of HDM162.. displays (16 characters, 2 lines), however.
Please advise of correct manufacturer, part number and source.

Without going deeper than the schematic as given, it seems that PIC pin->buffer pin is as follows:
Port B: 40->2, 39->3, 38->4, 37->5, 36->6, 35->7, 34->8; 33->9.
Port C: 15->2, 17->3, 16->4; balance undocumented.
Port A, pin 2 does not go to any other IC pin.

Please help find a solution months for programer 16F88, 16F876, 16f877 with your soft LDmicro often as analog input but do not want to run your aplication same delay that exists in the list of projects LDmicro.
I compile the project and the programer PIC 16F88, 16F876; 16F877mais not work.
