Which is the better 5.4.0.n release version (by Ziggy)
In the current 5.4.0.n series of releases the most recent release has a problem with ADC function ( at least with ATmega328.
The previous version i believe had a problem with a maths function. Which most recent version is trouble free?

The math problem already exists from version 4430, so you don't have much choice ;-)
V5405 works perfectly with a PIC, couldn't detect any errors yet.

Math problem has been fixed in 5404 from what i understand. I am having some issues with ADC performance however. Tried to implement a temperature controller and it just wouldnt work. Am presently using 5401 with good results using take back half algorithm. A belated merry Christmas and a Happy new Year

I thought I had a problem with 5.4.0.4.
In fact I had an intermittent problem with the PCB. I am using 32 pin package which was reflown onto the pcb. I didnt have a stencil, the solderpaste ws dispensed by hand whihc resulted in an intermittent solder joint on AREF pin. The ADC reference was applied externally whch resulted in intermittent performance. Once the solder joint was repaired everything settled down and 5.4.0.4 is giving expected results. Apologies for scaring the reader and tarnishing LDmicro's reputation.
