Printing the ladder diagram (by Frank)
Is anyone else having issues with printing a ladder diagram ??..If i save it as a text file and then open it with ms word it doesnt appear to be formatted correctly and prints as it looks in ms word.....if i open it in wordpad it opens formatted correctly but prints unformated...any ideas ???

It works if you open the LD_file.txt in Wordpad (landscape setting)

Hi MGP...If i open the text file in wordpad it is formatted correctly but if i go to print preview or print its incorrectly formatted...i must have something set incorrectly but im not sure what to change..

I reduced the font size but it didnt fix the formatting...

If you print that file does it print as per whats on the screen as shown in your pic ???

Not sure what i did wrong but i just changed to landscape , (which i thought i had tried)...and sure enough it prints.. i have an old printout here of a project i did a while back and i have printed it out in portrait mode fine ?...Anyway thanks very much for your help...much appreciated .

NOTE : it has been a while since i looked at this BUT i think the following applies

... look out for the width ( number of elements that can be connected in series on the ladder rung.
I think there are two options...
Select minimum number so as to allow portrait orientation of paper.

Otherwise select smaller FIXED WIDTH font to retain proper formatting.
