How do you record Chic (with what recorder and software do you record atmega8)

Como grabas el Chic (conque grabador y software grabas el atmega8)

I simulate it with Proteus and it works well for me.

Proteus 8 Professional.

As I have done, I copile LDMicro to file.Hex
In the microcontroller configuration set the timer to 0 no 1, this must take into account the timer in the configuration.
I attached the .hex for you to try, I would like it if it works correctly for you to inform me.
Thanks Paulino

Dear my friend Paulino
i Test your hex file it give the same result (not saving to EEPROM )
i configure atmega8 with timer0
i attach a screen shot for proteus note that EEPROM data is FFFF
Please help me

Hi MedTronic, The program works in the simulation with LDMicro,
in proteus ami too.
You have a protoboar load the chic and the tests for me will work because what we ask the software does well.

I attached a program for you to see by the UART simulator (terminal) that saves it well.
What languages do you speak or what country are you from?

MedTronic, I'm using PIC's no AVR's and it works always, my latest program was for a 16F1827 and it works too.

Sunday I soldered 2 prints with 16F1527 on them, TQFP-64 to test them if I have time, but I don't expect any problems.

Hello MGP, if I already talk about this topic that the PIC works for MedTronic.
the problem is that it does not work on the ATMega8-28Pins.
I do all the tests in both LDmicro and Proteus and everything works correctly.
The case is, in this case forget about the PIC and to help you have MedTronic you have to work with the Atemega AVR8, in this case.
I think it is the way not to make too much of the Forum's doubts.
Regards Paulino.

Saludos Paulino.

Dear paulino
Look at the top left of your image.. Look at avr eeprom.. You will find a data is ffff 00 ffff that means the variable is saved at the memory (sram) but not saved at EEPROM

To MGP my problem is with atmega8 not with pic micro... Please review and help

Thanks in advanced

Please test the integrated circuit recorded with the .hex
on a test plate and it has to work for you since your image gives all fff and my image on line 60 will see the data that is not fff.
This may be that your proteus is not up to date.
I repeat:
Try live with the atmega8, loading the .hex

If it is correct, forward me the OK.
if it is not correct tell me to continue investigating where this type of error is.

Thanks in advanced

I do not understand well,
You have loaded the .hex code to the atmega8 CPU and it works correctly, it is as I commented.

caso erroneo creo que por proteus (by Paulino)
I have tried everything with ldmicro, simulating and everything is perfect.
Proteus libraries have to be updated, my PC is Win10 64bit 32GB memory, I use Proteus 8 Professional.
and the truth was quite a few problems to adjust the libraries and I had to use this program (Library Loader).
I always go to LDMICRO since I am a programmer of automatons (PLCs) of all brands, DELTA, siemens, etc.
In a nutshell I think the error is not in LDMicro, it is in proteus (libraries). about that chic atmega8. because as you say in the PIC16fxx it works in proteus because the libraries are correct, but keep in mind that you can use PIC that the libraries do not work.

Dear paulino
Can you pleas explain what do you mean by adjusting the libaraies.... And what is the library loader....
Thak you very much for your help but please help me to solve the problem
And please run the proteus simulation
And show me the screen shot again
Please
