Record signal to register (by Naor)
Hi Jonathan.
It is passable to "record" a signal from IR sensor to register.

It would certainly be possible to read many types of IR sensor using LDmicro.

But it is not possible for me (or anyone else) to provide a meaningful answer without more information. What are you trying to do?

Hello again and thanks for the quick responds.
What I am trying to do is to read a code (any code from a TV remote) and store it in the memory. Then when it reads the code it while turn on signal in the micro.
Thank you very much,
Naor

IR remote controls typically use modulated IR, around 38 kHz or around 455 kHz. Consider one of the TSOP parts, which integrate the receiving photodiode and the demodulator:

It's not possible to say which receiver (if any) would work with your remote control without knowing the details of your remote control's signaling. You could also build your own transmitter, by using a PWM output to generate the modulation and switching the duty cycle between 0 (off) and 50% (on).

Hi Jonathan,

My problem is not with the hardware. My problem is in the software. How can I read a signal "record" it (save it) to the memory (register) of the micro and use it later in the program. I don't want to save bit after bit, I won't to read a string and save it to the memory. it is possible ?
