Would You Put Your Name And Money On It? (by Samukelo Shezi)
The owner of this beautiful tool, Mr Jonathan Westhues is reluctant to commercialise or accept donations for his work. I am curious, if he could realise how many people would love and are prepared to pay for a full-featured LDMicro, that: 1. Supports PIC18
2. Has efficient code (see help manual)
3. Copy/Paste feature
4. What would you add here?
whether he would be sympathetic and consider.

Would you, as a fan, put your name on a list in support of the request of such a version, and how much would you be willing to pay?

I would USD200.

count me in US$500 as it does so many things so fast for me
it would be cheep.

I guess the main problem is some people don't or cant pay,
how ever I am more than happy to pay for an upgrade which is then released as freeware.

You are right Samukelo Shezi it is a "beautiful tool"
I have used varoues types of plc software and none are as nice to use as LDmicro!

Yes, I too would very much like the SR. Jonathan ldmicro could provide a more complete, a commercial version, I also would be willing to pay for it, let's hope he has the time to do this.

David. I like that. I think I under valued. I'll double mine to US$400. I'll definitely pay that.

Would You Put Your Name And Money On It? (by Ed Schramm)
People, Mr. Westhues has a job!!!
He spents his free time, somtimes with LDmicro...
I belive he has a family as well a social live too...
He can't dedicate full time developing LDmicro even if he want, right?
So please, give him a pause...
A good, good, good thing that I realized is that project have a lot of interested people with good sugestions and good critics about it.

Would be very nice if teachers around the world that are using LDmicro now to teach programming or automation, or people with good skills that like to write code lines or C, help him someway to improve and review his project to make it better, better and better.

Good things must grow and creativity is the best we have, so let's make projects and applications for LDmicro, and continue to stimulate, encourage, motivate him as others to do the same!!!

Sorry about my bad english Mr.!
Happy New Year from Brazil

User contribution (by Ziggy)
Magno not a bad idea.

Personally I would like to become a bit more familiar with the design of LDmicro with the view to possibly adding Atmel devices.

Would it be possible to set up, separate to forum workshop, a page that would contain development resources and ideas?

Hello Ziggy, I regret not having enough knowledge to improve ldmicro already tried with some people I know, but without success. We then wait for someone to do.

in- circuit programming. (by Syed Ali)
only one things it differ to commercial PLC strongly.
that it produce HEX file that has to upload in some programmer
and also the micro controller. pulling out from PLC and reinserting again in PLC that makes to PLc.

there should be " in PLc programming"" so we can give the shap
it like a PLc and we don't need to open it.

perhaps Mr.Jonathan Westhues or some one else can modify th program and and it can program the device.

I am talking about ATMEL AVR series that have capability
in- circuit programming through it SPI communication.
it uses five wire signal as SCK, MISO, MOSI, RESET and ground.
Hope for better.

Thanks and congratulations to Ihor. He is now the official maintainer of LDMicro. You will notice that "unofficial support" is now removed at the "About" section.

Ihor is accepting donations. If you can sponsor the development of LDMicro please do so.

Again, thanks Ihor, and of course Jonathan.
