If the program runs okay in the simulator, then it seems likely that there is a problem with either your hardware or your PIC programmer.

Have you tried a simpler program in the PIC? Or verified that the fuses are correct, and that the oscillator runs when you apply power?

Mr Jonathan Westhues
i dont have any problem with PIC and hardware. My programm is working properly in PIC and hardware does what i want. But i also wanted my program to run in the AVR atmega8 and atmega16. i wrote a simple program for AVR and it worked properly. but after i tried to install and run my program it didnt worked in AVR atmega8 and atmega 16. Could it be possible for you to check my program again, and solve why my program doesnt work with AVR atmegaX.
with my best regards,
Bayram

Sorry, I had it backwards.

Can you post the AVR program that you tried? The attachment you have above is still for the PIC. Remember that the I/O pins will probably have to get reassigned, since the AVR and the PIC have different pinouts.

Hello, i want to give some introductory information about my program.
When program starts, y1 works. if x2 is set, y2 will work and y1 will stop. if x3 is set, y1 and y2 will stop and only y3 will work. This situation does not work in AVR.
Also, not only the upper part, the other side of the program does not work properly.
with my best regards,
